Pharmaceuticals in Tunisia

The pharmaceutical industry in Tunisia is like the engine under a large ship. Burning at full speed ahead - producing incredible products at the highest quality standards and all that shows on the surface are brand name products around the world that are in high demand. People have no idea where they are produced. Its almost an invisible production that is in higher and higher demand each year. The pharmaceutical industry has grown at a steady rate of 15% per annum which is much higher than comparable countries. The largest factor affecting the Tunisian market is that the Tunisian production quality is so high, international markets prefer the cheaper product - or at least the cheaper product are currently in higher demand.

I have an interview scheduled with Wael Soltani who has been working in the Pharmaceutical field for over 20 years importing and exporting products. He knows whats in high demand, and what needs further capital to produce the quantities required as demand increases. I am curious to see how far the market is going to grow in the next five years. Personally I would like to see an increase in "Healing Sanctuaries" - holistic space to learn about Holistic Healthy Lifestyles, which is all inclusive on mind/body/soul health care to compliment the high pharmaceutical demand. Humans seem to have forgotten their mind set and lifestyle contribute to their health and stress alone is not the only factor. These sanctuaries are spreading as well and coming in high demand for tourists seeking refuge from stress and anxiety. Weve noticed a much higher rate of demand from teens and students who find the pressures of the future too much to bear as well as the pressures from social media.

Back to the medical and pharmaceutical industry...
As far as technology is concerned, Tunisia is still very much 3rd world and isnt automated like the US or Canada. If a company were interested to partner here and install the systems for automated bloodwork results via email, or doctors appointments online, these industries would make a lot of money as the offices are packed. If you are interested in investing in opportunities that are ripe in the country, contact me and I can share with you opportunities that require local connections which are in place, and capital to revolutionize an over saturated market.
